Thus, Pakistan won the Champions Trophy by 180 runs.

Before the Final, India and Pakistan had encountered in the group stage when due to rain the match to 48 overs per side Opener Rohit Sharma led from the front and scored 319/3 but ran led to a revised target of 289 runs from 41 overs but Pakistani batsmen couldn’t survive and could manage only 164 runs in 33.4 overs which meant that Indians won the match by 124 runs(D/L method)

Well, no one would have thought that an India vs Pakistan match will turn out to be a low-scoring one when Pakistani batsmen kept on losing wickets before they were bundled for just 83 runs. A match between Pakistan and India is always great to watch in a world cup. On a pitch that was difficult to play shots, Pakistan batted first and guess what their batsmen kept on struggling before scoring 118/5 in just 20 overs. Meanwhile, it was Kohli’s 55 that led the team to a victory with 6 wickets and 13 balls remaining.

Indian cricket team maintained their record of winning against Pakistan in World Cup when MS Dhoni’s men encountered Pakistan in ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. Virat Kohli yet again smashed a match-winning 107 as India scored 300/7 in 50 overs. In reply, Pakistan kept on losing wickets and were ultimately bowled out for 224 and Indian cricket team won the match by 76 runs.
