It has already been a long time since World Wrestling Entertainment(WWE) SmackDown played host to the biggest names of the wrestling world which includes – The Rock, Hulk Hogan, John Cena, Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin and many other superstars who have been ruling the Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights for several years.
SmackDown, which had started in the United States on the UPN television network on April 29, 1999, has recently ranked its 15 best superstars of the millennium. It is now proved that SmackDown is The Rock’s Show after we came to know that The Rock is sitting at the top of the list, while AJ Styles, who had made his WWE debut at the 2016 Royal Rumble stands at 3rd, check out who others are there in the list:
#1 Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson
Talking about WWE, how can we forget, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson? After appearing on the first episode of SmackDown on Aug. 26, 1999, in Kansas City, Mo, “The Rock” had made it clear that SmackDown was his show. Now, after the popular TV program will celebrate its 1000th episode on October 16, 2018, Rocky Maivia is one of the renowned stars of the show.
After his return in WWE Championship Match against Triple H in 2013, The Rock has definitely electrified Thursday and Friday nights while taking on countless competitors. Well, this is the reason behind he is known as greatest SmackDown Superstar.
#2 The Undertaker
While one can say that WWE is The Undertaker’s home, then SmackDown is definitely his personal house of horror. Indeed, The Master of Pain has demolished the concept of 3-act structure. Well, there is no other superstar who has risen from the ashes and defied Father Time persistently than The Phenom. Well, there is no other superstar to have one great title victory in a 15-year span.
There is no doubt over this fact that the 53-year-old wrestler is one of the greatest superstars of the 90s list.
#3 AJ Styles
Allen Neal Jones popular with the ring name A.J. Styles who performs on the SmackDown brand is the current WWE Champion in his 2nd reign. Styles, who had first appeared in 2002 is the first wrestler to win the title outside of North America this reign became the longest in SmackDown history.

Adam Joseph Copeland, popularly known for his ring name Edge, is a member of the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2012. Well, he is one of the popular professional wrestlers of all-time who has won over 31 championships in WWE overall, which includes the World Heavyweight Championship a record seven times, the United States Championship once, the Intercontinental Championship five times, the WWE Championship four times and WWF/World Tag Team Championship a record twelve times.
#5 Eddie Guerrero
Eduardo Gory Guerrero Llanes, who had performed for a prominent member of the Guerrero wrestling family World Championship Wrestling (WCW), World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment (WWF/WWE) and Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), is a prominent member of the Guerrero wrestling family. Well, he is one of those crafty wrestlers who can do anything to win the match.

#6 Dave Bautista
After making his WWE debut on SmackDown in 2002, Bautista who had used the blue brand as a backdrop for his notable rivalries engaged in epic clashes against the main event stars such as The Undertaker, Rey Mysterio, and JBL, which includes winning the WWE Tag Team Titles with Rey Mysterio. Interestingly, it was Bautista who led Team SmackDown to brand supremacy over Team Raw at Survivor Series 2005.
#7 Kurt Angle
It’s an honour to have, Kurt Angle, The Olympic Gold Medalist on the blue brand. Further, it is interesting to know that he is one of those few Superstars in SmackDown’s 15 year-history to win a World Championship on the show when he crushed 19 other Superstars for Batista’s vacant World Heavyweight Championship.
Moreover, his 60-minute WWE Iron Man Match for the WWE Championship against Brock Lesnar in 2003 is one of the fantastic fights in SmackDown.
#8 The Usos
The Usos, an American professional wrestling tag team of Samoan descent, consists of twin brothers, Jimmy and Jey Uso. Well, the twins entry into SmackDown has made things memorable or exciting for us. their father, After father Rikishi had trained them, the two brothers went on to win the Slammy Award for Tag Team of the Year in both 2014 and 2015. In 2017, they became SmackDown Tag Team Champions on 3 different occasions.
#9 The New Day
The New Day which comprises of Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, and Big E currently holds the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. After conquering blue brand’s tag team titles on 2 occasions, they have stood up to The Shield and have even brought The Bludgeon Brothers’ reign of terror to an end. Moreover, their long list of accomplishments which puts them among the best to ever compete in the list of WWE’s brands.
#10 Rey Mysterio
Óscar Gutiérrez, popularly known as Rey Mysterio, has earned the WWE World Heavyweight Title once, World Heavyweight and Intercontinental Titles two times along with WWE Tag Team Title 4 times. His battle with close friend Eddie Guerrero and Mask vs. Intercontinental Title Match against Chris Jericho at The Bash 2009, proves that Mysterio’s performances have always been larger than life.
Meanwhile, Mysterio’s effort during 2006’s Royal Rumble Match has lasted longer than any Superstar has in Royal Rumble Match history.

Meanwhile, we have a good news over here that the WWE Universe is trying to bring the legendary Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for the 1000th episode of SmackDown Live which will telecast on 16th October in Washington D.C and 17th in India.
