Virat Kohli losses temper after series loss against South Africa

Centurion: Indian Cricket team overseas loss woes continues as batsman surrender to South Africa after getting bowled out at 151. Virat Kohli was left devastated after losing his first series as a captain against the hosts.

When the Indian test captain was asked, whether they had chosen the best Xl team then he said, “What’s the best XI?” when he was asked again, “Was it your best XI?” over this the 29-year old captain questioned back, “But if we had won this, was this the best XI?”

Virat Kohli outrages at media, after losing his first series as full-time captain.

After taking over from MS Dhoni in the year 2014-15, Virat Kohli had led India to win against the topmost side in the world but Wednesday’s loss against South Africa has brought the same question in the mind of the critics, “Can Indian Test Cricket Team win in overseas?”, well, the chances of the No.1 Test Team winning a series outside India looks pretty vulnerable, after the team lost the series in 2nd test match against South Africa.

When young Indian captain was questioned about inconsistencies in the team, he replied, “How many Tests have we won out of the 31? 21 wins. Two losses,” When he was asked on the number of games won by India, Virat said, “Does it matter. Wherever we play we try to do our best. I’m here to answer your questions, not to fight with you.”

The skipper’s journey in South Africa was not a good one barring his knock of 153. While the skipper was fined 25% of the match fees and was also given a demerit point by the ICC for his unprofessional behaviour on the field. It will be interesting to see how the team makes a comeback in the next game.
