Finally, Bollywood’s Masakali Sonam Kapoor gets married to the Punjabi Munda Anand Ahuja in a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony today i.e on May 8.
Also, the couple exchanged their vows not at a lavish five-star hotel but at the beautiful home of Sonam’s aunt in Bandra, Mumbai. Moreover, big names like Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Ranveer Singh were present at her wedding.
We must say that Sonam and Anand have given a great example by now following the rules of Great Indian fat wedding.
Earlier, Sonam had given her opinion on wastage of money in Indian wedding and said that she desires to marry at home rather than anywhere else.
She had said, “I think there is too much money spent; it’s all very crass, and I would rather give that money away. I’d rather have a wedding at home than anywhere else. I think it’s important to do all the rituals, but I don’t believe in spending all that money, I find it disgusting and very wasteful, and I’m not okay with that at all,
Sonam Kapoor’s sister Rhea Kapoor recently shared a picture of the venue on her Instagram profile and wrote,” You made our dreams come true”
