We Were Not Ready For This, Christiano Ronaldo Hints At Move Away After The Final Whistle

This was totally unexpected from the Portuguese superstar  Christiano Ronaldo has now hinted that he might have played his last game for the Real Madrid after winning the 4th Champions League crown for the  Spanish club in a 3-1 victory over Liverpool on Saturday.

While Karim Benzema scored the opening goal for Real Madrid while the substitute Gareth Bale struck twice, to seal a 13th European Cup win overall and their 4th title in 5 years after Sadio Mane had equalised for Liverpool.

Further, It was heartbreak for Liverpool though, who lost star man Mo Salah to shoulder injury before two crucial errors by goalkeeper Loris Karius before losing the final.

The 33-year-old footballer said that he is going to make an announcement about this in the near future.

He said, “Right now we need to enjoy ourselves but in the next few days I’ll give an answer to the fans who have always been by my side. It was beautiful to be at Real Madrid.”

“The future of any Madrid player is not important, we have just made history,” he added.

Well, who would’ve thought that the star player is trying to hide some secret behind his smile in the below picture.

Ronaldo who is an all-time high-score for Real started giving unambiguous answers after he was asked to clarify his comments.

“I don’t have any doubts, it’s not important, I have to rest now, go and meet up with the Portugal team and in the next few weeks,” said Ronaldo as he prepares to join up with his country’s World Cup squad which is going to be held in Russia.

As we all know, Ronaldo is the first player to win 5 Champions League titles since the competition changed the format in 1992 (which includes Manchester United). It seems that the Portugal superstar was not happy after he was asked that whether he was disappointed by not scoring a goal in the finals.

“Who’s disappointed? Perhaps they need to change the name of the Champions League to the CR7 Champions League. Who has the most titles and who has the most goals?” said Portugal forward.

Zinedine Zidane could not give a proper answer after he was asked about Ronaldo’s comments

“Cristiano has to stay no matter what. We’ll see what happens next, but for me he should stay,” Zidane said.

Meanwhile, Captain Sergio Ramos also requested Cris to remain at the club. he further said that Ronaldo needs to make everything clear.

“I’m sure Cris will speak at the end of the season. If there’s something behind this, he should come and clarify what it is today,” the captain said.

Ramos said,”Cristiano is a key part of this team, he likes to feel loved and we all want him to stay, he won’t find a better place than here, he’s our superstar.”

Later, he added, “Everyone is free to take a personal decision but I hope he stays here for many years.”

According to reports, Ronaldo was dissatisfied with the way he was treated by the Spanish club and wanted to leave Madrid.

Though it’s unclear what he meant by this, fans are fearing the worst.
