As we all know that Alia had earlier said that she has a huge crush on him and had even expressed her desire of marrying him. Further, the 25-year-old star had even said it’s a dream come true for her to work with the Sanju star in the upcoming Karan Johar venture.
In a recent interview with NDTV, Ranbir Kapoor gave an impressive reply to Alia Bhatt and said, “Well, I have a boy crush on her now.”
Interestingly, Ranbir’s confession got a quick “Aww” from Alia’s mentor Karan Johar. Well, the veteran filmmaker along with Ranbir was in New Delhi to announce the 19th IIFA weekend in Bangkok.
Meanwhile, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil star was in all praise for Alia Bhatt’s breathtaking performance in the movie Raazi.
Ranbir said, “I watched the film one week before release and it blew my mind it’s one of the greatest films ever made in Indian cinema.”
Moreover, when Karan asked about the lessons he had learned from the previous year’s IIFA gig, Karan said, “To keep my mouth shut and open it only when the teleprompter comes out and not give my vishesh tippani on anything on the stage.”
The IIFA will feature Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Priyanka Chopra performing on the stage together while this year a new guy, Kartik Aaryan will also be seen making his IIFA debut.
It will be interesting to see Ranbir and Alia sharing the screen together for the first time Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy and is scheduled to release on August 15, 2019.
