1. Rang De Basanti
After starring in movies like Sarfarosh and Lagaan, Mr. Perfectionist came back with yet another patriotic drama Rang De Basanti in 2006. Directed by Rakesh Omprakash Mehra, the movie also featured Soha Ali Khan, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi along with various other actors. Surprisingly, the film was praised by critics and had a noticeable influence on Indian society. Moreover, the movie went on to win the award for Best movie at Filmfare Awards. JP Dutta’s Border which is based on the Battle of Longewala during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 is one of those classic movies which is still loved by the audience.
