Confirmed! Rohit Shetty’s Simmba starring Ranveer Singh finds its leading lady in Sara Ali Khan

Finally, the confusion is over, the leading lady of Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film Simmba is announced. Earlier, the names of the various popular actress were considered for the movie but after many speculations, the producers seem to have chosen the female lead of the film.

According to the reports, Simmba is the Bollywood remake of Jr NTR’s Telugu hit Temper and the film will be directed by none other than Rohit Shetty.

Talking about his role in Simmba, Ranveer Singh said, “Sangram Bhale Rao aka Simmba… He is a cop in the film.”

Appreciating Rohit Shetty, the Padmaavat star said, “I am really very excited about collaborating with Rohit Shetty, more than anyone else. He is the king of masala films, which are loved more than any other films. So this is something I believe I was born to do and I am looking forward to it.”

In December 2017, Ranveer Singh had shared the poster of the movie on twitter.

Today, The official handle of Karan Johar’s Dharma Production tweeted “All your speculations end here. Presenting you the leading lady of Simmba opposite Ranveer Singh. Roaring to cinemas near you on 28th December 2018.”

Well! The actress is none other than Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan. Initially, Sara was going to make her debut in Student Of The Year 2, but as it was a two-heroine project, Sara decided to sign Kedarnath instead.

Working with big names like Karan Johar, Rohit Shetty, and Ranveer Singh at the beginning of the career is like a dream come true for the 24-year-old actress.

Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan, who is shooting for Kedarnath alongside Sushant Singh Rajput will have two release in a month as it will release on 21st December 2018.

This means that Ranveer Singh will face superstar Salman Khan’ Dabangg 3 at the Box Office which is scheduled to release on 28th December 2018.
