Ajay Devgn Raid’s the Box Office, Beats Akshay Kumar’s PadMan

Box office collections are out! Ajay Devgn’s Raid shatters record at the Indian Box Office while the Hollywood movie I Can Only Imagine’s collections have amazed the critics. So, here check out the Weekend Box Office collection of the new release this year:

Ajay Devgn has completed almost over 25 years in the Bollywood industry yet the 48-year-old superstar is still loved by the audience which is proved by the fact that his recent movie ‘Raid’  broke several records at the Box-office. According to Trade Analyst, Taran Adarsh, Raid collected around Rs. 41.01 crores in the opening weekend at the box-office. Also, the film has gone past Akshay Kumar’s PadMan that had collected Rs 40.05 crore in the first weekend to emerge as the 2nd highest weekend of 2018.

Raja Abroadiya

The other release Raja Abroadiya couldn’t garner good collections at the box office may be because of the renowned films. Still, with unknown actors, the movie has collected around Rs 2 Crore at the Weekend which is appreciable.

7 Days in Entebbe International

The thriller movie directed by José Padilha that features Rosamund Pike and Daniel Bruhl in lead roles could collect only $1.63 million over its opening weekend owing to its poor reviews and minimum buzz also it was released in only 838 theaters.

7 Days in Entebbe stars an international cast, including Daniel Brühl and Rosamund Pike as two German hijackers.

I Can Only Imagine

Surprisingly, the new release I Can Only Imagine directed by the Erwin brothers and starring Dennis Quaid, Cloris Leachman and Trace Adkins earned around $17.064 million at the box-office making it one of the highest grossing films worldwide in the opening weekend. According to reports, this is Roadside Attractions biggest opening ever.
