Bajrangi Bhaijaan vs Dangal in China

Khan war has begun! And this time it’s not in India but at the Box Office of China. After Aamir Khan’s biographical sports drama film Dangal became the highest grossing Indian film in China, Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan is all set to fire the box office in China.

Fortunes are favouring the Tiger Zinda Hai star, as his 2015 Blockbuster movie has opened to an overwhelming response at the China Box Office on 2 March 2018. Meanwhile, it seems that the audience in China is appreciating the film’s cross-border story of love and compassion.

On its opening day, the film has garnered more than Rs 18 crore ($2.8 million).

Generated by high audience ratings such as 8.6 on Douban and 9.7 on Maoyan, the film has managed to have a successful weekend at the Box office with a collection of Rs.55.22 cr ($ 8.49 million).

Revealing the 4th-day figures on Twitter; Bollywood Trade Analyst, Taran Adarsh said that Salman’s comedy-drama film has made a strong start on the first day of the weekdays and has managed to earn $ 1.74 million on Monday. Overall, the film’s collection stands at Rs.66.58 crore ($10.25 Million).

With its impressive numbers, Salman Khan will emerge out as a winner at China’s Box Office. However, it will be too early to predict whether the film will be able to recreate the magic of Dangal or not.

According to reports, Dangal had collected Rs 78.10 crore over the first weekend in China.

It is important to note that while Dangal was given 62000 shows; Bajrangi Bhaijaan got only 19,000 shows in China.

Also, Bajrangi Bhaijaan had released in India in 2015. And almost after 3 years, the film is still doing good business in the overseas market which is a good sign for Bhai’s movie.
