Looks like the filmmakers are keen to give the movie a realistic appeal. It was only for this reason that they opted for a bicycle as it is the most common mode of transport in the whole country.

“The makers are keeping everything real in the film. From the look of the characters to the costumes to elements that resonate the milieu of the heartland of India – everything is relatable and real. This is extremely important for the makers as they want to pull the audiences into the world of the film,” says a source

Expressing his opinions on choice of his heroine, Maneesh Sharma said, “We wanted someone who could effortlessly transform herself into a character who is intelligent, strong and expressive even in her silence.”

Appreciating the lead actress Anushka Sharma, Maneesh said, “Anushka brings in the authenticity and resilient spirit as a performer and a star.”

Speaking about the current cinemagoers, he said, “Today, moviegoers want to discover and love characters that they connect with. They want to identify themselves with the story and see how convincingly and truthfully actors translate it.”

Produced by Yash Raj films, the film is all set to release on September 29, 2018.
