Yippee! Finally, our dream to watch the pop star, Zayn Malik performing live on the stage is going to be true. Yes, You’ve heard it right! the ex-one direction star is planning to come to India for a multi-city tour in August.
According to reports, the ex-One Direction band member will kickstart the tour from 3rd August which will be organized by Blot Canvas PR owner Apar Mathur along with JPR Events.
Vishal Pandey, Chief Operating Officer, JPR Events, said, “He will kick-start the tour from Mumbai on August 3 and then head to cities like Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Delhi. We are planning to organise his concert in Nepal too.”
Now, this is going to be exciting, isn’t it?
As we all know, the British-Pakistani singer received fame on the 2010 series of The X Factor. Well, Being a part of One Direction he delivered hits and entertained us with songs like “What makes you beautiful”, “Little things” and “Live while we’re young”

Shockingly, in 2015 we came to know that the Bradford born singer has decided to quit the band in order to live a “normal” life out of the spotlight.
While Sunil Hamal, Director, JPR events, revealed,“I was trying to get One Direction (to perform in India) but they did not have dates.”
Indeed, Zayn enjoys a great fan-following in India.
He added, “Zayn has a very good fan following here so, I thought why not Zayn. I am also in touch with (his former bandmate) Liam Payne. I was little confused between Liam Payne and Zayn.”
Immediately after leaving One Direction, Zayn decided to share his solo single, Pillowtalk, in 2016. Well, the singer had earlier made cover versions of Indian singer Kailash Kher’s hit numbers Teri deewani and Allah Ke bande to keep his followers engaged.
As we all know, earlier this year he had worked with music maestro A.R. Rahman on one song too. While his latest song Entertainer, released in May via RCA Records is too appreciated.
Meanwhile, the 25-year-old singer was in the news for his break-up with supermodel Gigi Hadid. In March, we saw them posting heartfelt notes on the end of their two-year relationship on Twitter.
