Looks like IPL will have a tough time in Tamil Nadu as the actor-turned-politician Rajinikanth wants IPL players and spectators to be allowed to wear black bands to support their protest.
On Sunday, the 67-year-old superstar along with top Tamil actors like Kamal Haasan, Vijay, Suriya, Sathyaraj, Sivakumar, Nassar, Vishal, Karthi, and Sivakarthikeyan was seen protesting over the delay in the setting up of the Cauvery Management Board(CMB) by the BJP-led government in Chennai.
The move comes after AIADMK had called for a hunger strike to criticize the central government for not forming the CMB on Tuesday.

While before heading towards the venue of protest meeting, the Kaala star said to the reporters that this is a matter of embarrassment for the state of Tamil Nadu that IPL matches are played in the city even at those times when the state was protesting over the Cauvery issue.

Expressing his disappointment over the delay, Rajinikanth further warned that Central government would have to face the anger of Tamil Nadu if the Cauvery board was not formed urgently.
It seems that the upcoming IPL matches of Chennai Super Kings may face the wrath of political parties.
According to sources, some farmers in Trichy with garlands around their necks had buried themselves in the sand under the scorching heat of the sun on Friday in order to draw the attention of the central Government.
