A few days ago, Alia Bhatt shared the clip on her social media profile announcing the release of the new trailer of her upcoming movie.
Today, taking to Twitter, veteran filmmaker Karan Johar took the initiative of sharing the trailer of Raazi, he wrote, “And here it is!! #RaaziTrailer – The story of an ordinary girl in extraordinary circumstances!!”
Moreover, this movie is special for Alia Bhatt as this will be the first time she will be seen playing 3 pivotal roles of obedient daughter, dedicated wife, and a fearless spy in one movie.
In an interview, Alia said that portraying the role of a spy being a wife was difficult for her.

Well! The two-and-a-half minute trailer begins with India-Pakistan tension, which shows Alia Bhatt(Sehmat), an innocent Kashmiri girl who is married off to a Pakistani by her father to make her eyes and ears’of India in Pakistan. With this, her journey as a wife of Vicky Kaushal(Iqbal), a Pakistani Army officer kicks off. While being a perfect wife she never forgets that she never forgets her priorities for her country, when she says, “Watan ke aage kuchh nahi, khud bhi nahi.”
The trailer arouses curiosity when in the end Alia is seen pointing a gun at a man, who appears to be her husband as tears roll down her cheeks.
