After entertaining the Indian audience with comedy horror drama Stree, Haryana-born actor Rajkummar Rao will once again collaborate with famous Bollywood director Hansal Mehta in Turram Khan. Interestingly, the movie will also star Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actress Nushrat Bharucha in leading role.
Moreover, the hit director and actor have earlier worked in movies such as Shahid, Aligarh, and CityLights. Now, the guys are coming back with yet another social comedy-drama.
Further, the shooting of the project will also start by the end of this year. Announcing the project on Twitter, Hansal Mehta wrote, ”Finally a comedy! #TurramKhan with my favorite @rajkummar_rao and the talented @nushratbharucha! It’s like making my debut all over again. Excited to collaborate with @ajaydevgn #LuvRanjan @gargankur82 @turramkhan #ADFFilms @luv_films.”
On the work front, Rajkummar Rao will be seen in 5 Weddings, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga and Mental Hai Kya. Interestingly, Nusrat will be seen in Mental Hai Kya which stars Queen star Kangana Ranaut as a female lead.
Produced by Luv Ranjan and Ajay Devgan, the movie Turram Khan will witness Rajkummar and Nushrat collaborating after 8 years, they were last seen together in Love, Sex Aur Dhokha.
Meanwhile, Hansal and Rajkummar’s last Bollywood movie which was based on the terrorist Omar Syed Sheikh couldn’t garner praise from critics as well as the box-office. It will be interesting to see whether their collaboration can create some magic at the box-office.
Well, we hope that Rajkummar Rao and Hansal Mehta become successful with their latest venture. Further, the producers have still not announced the release date of the movie so far.
