Who would have thought that the memes of Mahesh Bhatt’s Jalebi-The Everlasting Taste Of Love will create such a huge craze among the fans on Twitter?
Taking advantage of the hype the makers have now released the first trailer of the movie on Monday. Interestingly, the trailer which features lead actors Varun Mitra and Rhea Chakraborty has so far got over 50K Likes.

The 145-second trailer video confirms that the movie is a love story but it is more intense than the first look. Well, the trailer introduces two new characters, Dev(Varun Mitra) and Ayesha(Rhea Chakraborty) in which Ayesha, a copywriter is seen touring Delhi where she meets Dev, a tour guide, they fall in love with each other and they both get married too.
Being from a well-to-do family Rhea starts to realize how she missed other things in life and then she starts to search for a job as an escape route and decides to move out, against the wish of her husband. Here, director Pushpdeep Bhardwaj shows the conflict about how the 2 lead actors look at their lives and the values imparted to them.
Indeed, the movie seems like a tale of love and separation. Well, Rhea, who has done movies like Mere Dad Ki Maruti and Sonali Cable has stolen the show.

Surprisingly, the two actors meet again on a train journey after years and then the trailer ends on Rhea realizing that Varun has remarried. Well, we still don’t know whether Dev has really found someone else or there is more to this love story.
Written by Kausar Munir, Jalebi also stars Digangana Suryavanshi in pivotal role. Meanwhile, Jalebi will hit the theatres on October 12, 2018.
