Meet the star cast

The interesting fact over here is that Akshay will be seen playing the role of Havildar Ishar Singh in movie Kesari which also features Parineeti Chopra as Eesha, who is Ishar Singh’s daughter.

The movie is directed by Anurag Singh, who is a popular Punjabi director. Well, Anurag is popular for movies like Punjab 1984 and  Jatt & Juliet. Apart from Akshay and Parineeti, Kesari also stars Ashwath Bhatt, Mir Sarwar and Mohit Raina(popular for his role in TV series Devon Ke Dev Mahadev). While Sarwar will be seen as Khan Masud, Bhatt will play the role of Gul Badshah Khan and Mohit as Sepoy Buta Singh.

Taking about his role, Akshay said, “I have been shooting for ‘Kesari’ since the last one and a half months, and every time that I wear the taaj (turban) on my head, I am filled with pride.”

Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Isha Ambani’s Reliance Entertainment, Kesari will hit the theatres on March 21, 2019.

Well, the posters and Akshay Kumar’s look in the movie is really fascinating, isn’t it?
