Earlier this year, superstar Irrfan Khan left the world in shock after revealing that he has been diagnosed with a rare neuroendocrine cancer. Well, the 52-year-old actor has taken a break from work to receive a proper treatment abroad since March.
While the close friends and colleagues of Irrfan also respect his privacy and has not unveiled much information about his treatment also the actor himself is mum over the matter.
Now, as the actor’s well-wishers have been eagerly waiting to know more about his health the Blackmail star spoke about his current state of mind in an interview with Bombay Times from London after he had signed up for a trial-and-error study to cure his tumour.
A Heartfelt Note
Irrfan describes about how he was in a different game of life while he was busy chasing his dreams and aspirations when he came to know about rare cancer. Well, the actor was shocked after realizing that he was suffering from the fatal illness.
The actor has now started to accept the unpredictability and the subsequent pain. Further, he discussed about not allowing cancer to win over him through fear and panic.”
Speaking to his son, he said, “I desperately need my feet” in the face of the terminal illness. While the life wants Irrfan to learn more lessons.
Irrfan said that though his hospital was located on the opposite side of Lord’s stadium, the constant “pain and exhaustion” didn’t allow him to even visit “Mecca of his childhood dreams.”
Well, the Hindi Medium star accepted to surrender himself to the uncertainty of his life and “where this takes me, eight months from now, or four months from now, or two years”.
In the end, the superstar thanked his fans and well-wishers from all over the world.

Now, the actor will be seen in Karwaan, a comedy movie in which Dulquer Salmaan plays a guy who lives in Bengaluru also it is directed by Akarsh Khurana and apart from Irrfan the movie also stars, Kriti Kharbanda, and Mithila Palkar.in leading roles. While the movie was shot in Ooty and Kochi.
