Black Panther breaks all Box-office records mints $235 million on President Day Weekend

Disney Marvel movie Black Panther is expected to have a strong run ahead in the box-office as it is backed by the audience as well as the critics after its release on February 16, 2018, in the United States of America.

Moreover, on Monday the film broke several box-office records and as per the reports, the ticket sales are expected to go higher.

On Sunday the movie collected $60.1 million which is considered to be the 2nd best Sunday in the history of the Hollywood industry.

Till date, the film has been able to collect $235 million over the 4-day President’s Day weekend at 4,020 North American locations.

Black Panther, an American superhero-based film is basically based on the Marvel Comics character with the same name.

Directed by Ryan Coogler the movies stars Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, Daniel Kaluuya and Danai Gurira in lead roles.

In the movie, T’Challa comes back home as King of Wakanda while his sovereignty is challenged by a long-time adversary, in a conflict with global consequences.

Further, the movie portrays the fighting sequences in an exemplary manner. This is portrayed in one of the instances when T’Challa needs to submit to the Wakandan ritual of blood-combat to retain his throne.

This is the first film to bring together black casts and is a must-watch for the ones that aappreciate te revolution, isolationism, and cultures of oppression.

While the themes are deep, the movie provides a lot of moment for enjoyment with immense action sequences, good humor, and special effects.
