Alia Bhatt who is considered one of the most talented actresses among the Bollywood has defied all the expectations at the box-office with her new movie Raazi. The 25-year-old actress has amazed Indian fans with her exceptional performance in the spy thriller movie directed by Meghna Gulzar.
On Monday Bollywood Trade Analyst, Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and wrote,” Raazi has a fantastic opening weekend… Alia’s star power + power-packed performances + strong content + solid word of mouth helped multiply numbers.”
Well, The movie which also stars Vicky Kaushal, Rajit Kapoor and Soni Razdan in the pivotal roles has opened to a terrific response at the box-office. The movie showed a solid uptrend over the opening weekend collecting Rs.7.53 crore on Friday. While the film’s collections continued to rise with each passing day with each passing day. It collected Rs.11.30 crore on Saturday and Rs.14.11 crore on Sunday with total collections of Rs.32.94 crore over the weekend. Definitely, these are massive numbers for what Bollywood calls a ‘female-centric’ film.

Now Raazi is among the top 5 biggest Bollywood opening weekends of the year. Moreover, it is sure that the movie’s winning streak is not going to stop anytime soon.
According to reports, the movie collections are going to increase in the forthcoming days due to high critic ratings and good word of mouth. If things go well, the movie might become another super hit of the year.

Further, the movie has now become the 5th highest opener of 2018 only after Deepika Padukone’s Padmaavat (Rs 114 crore), Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 2(Rs 73 crore), Ajay Devgn’s Raid(Rs 41 crore) and Akshay Kumar’s PadMan(Rs 40 crore).
