You Didn't See This On TV, A Fan Breaks Security, Ran To Virat Kohli For a Selfie, Watch Video

If you have thought that MS Dhoni is the only batsman in the world to enjoy massive fan following then you must watch the video of the battle between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Daredevils which will prove that Virat Kohli is on the path of becoming the ultimate idol for this country.

On Saturday night, when Delhi Daredevils posted the score of 181 runs on the scoreboard at Feroz Shah Kotla, in New Delhi in the 45th match of IPL 2018. Virat Kohli (70 off 40 balls) and his South-African teammate AB De Villers (72* off 37 balls) played a great innings to chase down the total to win the match by 5 wickets.

Though Delhi Daredevils went on to lose the match yet Kohli received a great support from the home crowd. It was great to see people wearing the RCB jersey to show their love for Kohli.

A thrilling incident occurred during the fifth over of RCB’s chase when Kohli was batting along with AB De Villers as the due were trying to build a solid partnership to bring their team towards victory. During the chase, a fan suddenly entered the field and reached the non-striker’s end at the Indian captain. At first, the fan touched the feet of Virat Kohli and then wanted to click a selfie with him. Unfortunately, the historic moment for the fan came to an end as the security guards took him away from the field.

While Rishabh Pant scored 61 off 34 balls but his knock went in vain as the match-winning 118-run partnership between Kohli and ABD put RCB in the driver’s seat in the chase.

For RCB, the chase was not easy as they lost Moeen Ali (1) and Parthiv Patel (6) early, Later RCB skipper and De Villers brilliant stand kept their hopes alive for the playoffs.
