Born in Taiwan, Tzuyu was discovered by talent scouts at the MUSE Performing Arts Workshop in Tainan, and later she moved to South Korea to start her training.

Who is Tzuyu?
Chou Tzu-yu, professionally known by the mononym Tzuyu, is a popular Taiwanese singer from South Korea. Moreover, after she appeared on the South Korean reality show Sixteen in 2015, Tzu-yu was chosen as one of the 9 members of Twice. Meanwhile, Tzuyu is now studying at Hanlim Multi Art School after completing her studies from Tainan Municipal Fusing Junior High School.
In 2016, Tzuyu was the 3rd most popular idol among young South Koreans, as per a South Korean survey.
