Aamir Khan Completes 30 years In Bollywood: 5 Films That Prove Him As Mr. Perfectionist

Aamir Khan is a superstar who is ruling the hearts of Indian audience since the late 1980s. After beginning his journey in Bollywood around 30 years ago with Qayamat se Qayamat Tak, the 53-year-old actor has come a long way to earn the title of Mr.Perfectionist in Bollywood.

Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak(1988)

Do you remember this evergreen song,”Aey Mere Humsafar” from the movie Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak? This is the first movie of 23-year-old Aamir Khan as a lead actor in Bollywood who starred opposite Juhi Chawla on the screen together. Well! The movie turned out to be a blockbuster as it became the  third highest-earning film of the year.

Lagaan (2001)

In 2001, Aamir Khan surprised the audience when he came up with Ashutosh Gowariker’s Lagaan. The movie revolves around the story of a small village whose inhabitants are challenged by a British officer to a game of cricket as a wager to avoid the taxes. Aamir’s character as Bhuvan was loved by audience as it became  the  highest-grossing Indian film of 2001.

3 Idiots(2009)

The year 2009 saw Aamir Khan playing the role of a engineering student in the movie 3 Idiots. Inspired by the novel Five Point Someone and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the movie is a satire about the social pressures under an Asian education system Well! The movie went on to break all the box-office records as it turned out to be the highest grossing Bollywood film ever at that time.

Dhoom 3 (2013)

In 2013, Aamir again astonished everyone when he was seen racing bikes, playing dual characters as well as the role of an antagonist. Further, in the movie Katrina Kaif and Aamir Khan were seen starring opposite each other for the first time. Though the movie collected huge numbers at Indian box-office also it became the 78th highest-grossing film of 2013 worldwide.

Dangal (2016)

Aamir Khan always tries to do something different and in Dangal he was seen playing the role of a renowned wrestler Mahavir Singh Phoghat who aspired to make his daughters  Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari to become India‘s first world-class female wrestlers. Eventually, the movie turned out to be the highest-grossing Indian film ever
