Junglee: Watch out Vidyut Jammwal in a new avatar with his friend Bhola

Junglee is an upcoming Bollywood film which features Vidyut Jammwal in lead role.

The action-adventure film is directed by Hollywood Director Chuck Russell who is known for directing epic films like, ‘The Mask’. The movie Junglee portrays the story of a family and their relationship with elephants.

Recently, the filmmakers decided to share the first look of the film which includes Vidyut Jammwal with an elephant.

The promotion video- The Gananatha Pranamam shows the muscular Commando star paying tribute to Lord Ganesha through his elephant friend Bhola.

In the same video, Vidyut is displaying his kalarippayattu training and martial art skills.

In the film, Vidyut will be seen playing the role of Ashwath who is born in Kerala. Later, he turns into a veterinarian in Mumbai. On the tenth death anniversary of his mother, Ashwath decides to visit the jungle on being insisted by his grandmother.

He receives a warm welcome from his father also from his childhood elephant sister whom he fondly calls as ‘Didi’ and her calf as ‘Apu’.

Before Vidyut realizes the threat of poaching in the jungle, his father along with Apu has lost their lives.

In an Interview, Chuck Russell said, “For the first time, I met Vidyut Jammwal, I could imagine no one else in this role. He has a charm & a good humor that is rarely combined with such physicality.

He added, “In that way, it reminds me of meeting Dwayne Jhonson for the first time, for his leading role on Scorpion King.’ We bet being compared to Dwayne Jhonson has certainly boosted Vidyut’s performance in the movie.”

Junglee will release during the event of Dussehra on 19th October 2018.
