What’s Raid about:
The film is inspired by a true story in which I-T raids that were conducted by IRS way back in the 1980s. Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn plays the role of Amay Patnaik, who is a fearless Income Tax officer and while Ileana D’Cruz plays the role of his wife whose character name is Rita.
Patnaik who is transferred 49 times in his career finally reaches Lucknow. There he comes to know about a corrupt politician Rameshwar Singh (Saurabh Shukla) who has large amounts of black money, Patnaik decides to carry out a non-stop raid at the mansion.
Review:
Entertaining or Interesting, the movie is a mix of everything and with great actors in Ajay, Ileana and Saurabh along with an intelligent script and an amazing screenplay by Riteish Shah, songs, thrills, twists, action sequences the movie is a perfect treat for the audience during the weekend.
Patnaik’s heroism and his fights for corruption prove him as an honest public servant. Meanwhile, Saurabh Shukla’s portrayal as Tauji makes him a great antagonist and is the highlight of the movie. Well! Patnaik turns out to be that hero which a country definitely needs to battle against corruption. Further, Ileana plays a perfect role as a courageous and a supporting wife.
