WATCH OUT! Bhumi Pednekar takes a Scary Avatar in Her Next with Sushant Singh Rajput

Unbelievable! Is she the same Bhumi Pednekar who starred opposite Akshay Kumar in Toilet: Ek Prem Katha?  Well! With a rifle on her shoulder, dressed up in a saree and a red sindoor, this 28-year-old actress is looking like a ruthless  Chambal dacoit.

It seems that the favourite co-star of Ayushmann Khurrana is on her way to experiment new roles. This might be a bit risky for a newcomer in Bollywood but Bhumi is all set to challenge herself and carve out her own path to success. Probably, Son Chiriya was the one she was looking out for as she shared the first look of the movie on Twitter to her fans.

The movie Son Chiriya is directed by Abhishek Chaubey that shows the Dum Laga Ke Haisha star playing the role of a small town woman from the Chambal Valley in the 1970s.

According to reports, Bhumi plays the role of a young widow in the movie, while to perfect her accent she has learned the local language Bundelkhandi. Meanwhile, the film’s team has done a lot of hard work and has shot over in different parts of Chambal where the temperature would sometimes shoot up to over 40 degrees in the jungles.

Son Chiriya which co-written by Sudip Sharma shared his experience about visiting Chambal and his extensive research, he said,”Some of them have more than 80 murder charges on them. Everyone has heard horror stories about the dacoits of Chambal but I’ve realized the reality is quite different from what Hindi films portray. We aim to capture that reality.”

Meanwhile, talking about the male lead of the movie, the M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story star Sushant Singh Rajput has completely transformed into a dacoit and looks fearsome.
