Twitterati Trolls Japrit Bumrah For Bowling No-ball In India Vs England Test Match

Jasprit Bumrah bowled yet another no ball in the 4th match of the Test series against England in Southampton on Day 1 left fans on Twitter in a state of dissatisfaction. Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra and Indian cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle are not happy with Bumrah’s mistake.

It all started with England winning the toss and electing to bat first. Well, the 24-year-old Bumrah took this as an opportunity and bowled an incredible inswinger in his 2nd over as he dismissed English opener Keaton Jennings for a duck.

In the 3rd bowl of his very next over, Bumrah got Joe Root plumb in front of the wickets but to everyone’s surprise, the umpire did not give the batsman out.

After the umpire had turned down the appeal Bumrah asked Kohli to go for DRS and as the call was sent to the 3rd umpire, the excitement of Indian fans was gone as Bumrah was once again caught stepping over the bowling crease.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time when Bumrah had bowled a front foot no-ball. Well, he earned a bad reputation of bowling no-balls during the crucial moment of the match.

If you can remember one of those incidents when the wicket was cancelled due to Bumrah’s no-ball while the play extended to the 5th day as tail-ender Adil Rashid, was unbeaten at the end of the day.

Further, West Indies fast bowler Michael Holding had already said that Jasprit Bumrah  “is not a new-ball bowler
