This Kasautii Zindagii Kay Actress To Play Sonia Gandhi in the upcoming Anupam Kher Starrer

After Padma Bhushan awardee Anupam Kher stunned everyone with his ‘Manmohan Singh’ look in the upcoming political drama directed by Vijay Ratnakar Gutte.

Taking the advantage of the film’s buzz, the producers decided to arouse the curiosity among the fans by revealing the actress who will play the Sonia Gandhi, the former president of the Indian National Congress in the movie ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’.

Well! the actress is none other than but Kasautii Zindagii Kay famed Suzanne Bernert. Do you remember? The German-born actor first came in with her role of ‘Doris Bajaj’ (Prerna’s daughter-in-law) in the iconic Ekta Kapoor show which ran for over seven long years on Star Plus.

Meanwhile, the 35-year-old actress who is married to actor Akhil Mishra was also seen in the role of ‘Helena’ in the popular TV show ‘Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat’

Apart from that, Suzanne has worked on many popular TV shows CID, Crime Patrol (TV series) as well as in  films like No Problem and Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd.

Moreover, the actress has earlier gained experience while playing the role of Sonia Gandhi in ‘ABP News’ show ‘7 RCR’ which will help her in her upcoming project.

According to sources, the movie is based on the 2014 memoir of the same name by Sanjaya Baru. Apart from, Anupam Kher and Suzanne Bernert, the film also stars Akshaye Khanna in the role of Sanjaya Baru and actress Aahana Kumra as Priyanka Gandhi.
