The excitement begins! As Bollywood’s favourite pair Rajkummar Rao and Kangana Ranaut are all set to reunite once again for their upcoming psychological thriller.
While the two superstars were last seen together for 2013, blockbuster, Queen. They are coming back again with Mental Hai Kya.
The filmmakers released the first look of the characters on Monday and the duo is seen unleashing their offbeat side in the film.

The posters display the dark side of the actors in the film. While Kangana is seen sporting a funny face along with short hairs, Rajkummar has colored his nails showing his middle finger that covers his eyeballs.

Also, Kangana decided to share some viewpoint about her character in her upcoming edgy thriller. The film reflects the story of a woman who could be a murderer or a mentally ill person.
Excited about her role in the film, Kangana said, “You’re never sure if this girl is hallucinating or what’s happening to her is for real, whether the guy (Rajkummar Rao) is trying to trap her or she’s got him wrong.”
Sharing her experience on working with the Newton actor, Rajkummar Rao, she said, “He is a star today while still being a brilliant actor, so I will have to be on my toes to ensure he doesn’t steal the show from right under my nose”
On her upcoming film producer, Ekta Kapoor said,“Mental Hai Kya celebrates the beauty in imperfections and in being different and shouts out, Sanity is overrated! I’m thrilled to work with Kangana and Raj on this one.”
Apart from Ekta, the film is also produced by Shailesh R Singh and Shobha Kapoor.
Directed by Prakash Kovelamudi and written by Kanika Dhillon, Mental Hai Kya is expected to go on the floors this month.
