From the day fans came to know that Bollywood’s next-gen stars Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao are sharing the screen for the first time in Stree and we were so excited to see them together.
In July, the filmmakers had released the trailer of the movie while on Thursday they released the first song of the movie on the social media platform.

Say what Bareilly Ki Barfi actor Pankaj Tripathi too joined Shraddha and Rao for the song titled “Milegi Milegi” which is sung by none other than popular singer Mika Sing and composed by music composer duo Sachin-Jigar.

Stree director Amar Kaushik said, “The idea of ‘Milegi Milegi’ is to give the audience a peek into what Stree is all about. Even though it is a promotional song, it encapsulates the essence of the movie and showcases the concept of the film.”
“We really enjoyed shooting for the song as it’s a peppy number filled with a lot of ‘masti’ (fun) that got the entire cast grooving to the upbeat tempo. We are sure that the audiences will enjoy watching the song as well as break into a dance whenever the song plays.” he added.
According to the director, Shraddha Kapoor plays the role of a mysterious woman while Rajkummar plays the role of a tailor in the film.
Set in a town called Chanderi, Stree is an upcoming horror comedy movie, based on the Indian urban legend, Nale Ba which is about a witch who knocks on people’s doors at night.
Produced by Maddock films and D2R films, Stree will hit the theatres on August 31, 2018.
