Sridevi Funeral: Cremation held with state honours

On Wednesday afternoon Bollywood’s superstar  Sridevi cremation ceremony was held as per the state honours at Mumbai’s Vile Parle Seva Samaj Crematorium.

The actor was seen draped in a Tricolour and in her favourite red Kanjeevaram saree on her last journey.

While her friends, Bollywood actors gathered to pay their last respects to the actor.

3.53pm: The funeral procession of Sridevi reaches the cremation grounds in Vile Parle.

3.28pm: During Sridevi’s funeral procession, thousands of fans crowd the streets and while many people are crying.

2.53pm: Boney Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor,  Mohit Marwah and spotted on the hearse.

2.43pm: Scene outside Vile Parle Seva Samaj Crematorium where Sridevi’s cortege is scheduled to arrive shortly.

2.36pm:  While Sridevi’s body was draped in Tricolour by the policemen on each corner before the cortege began its journey.

2.12pm: Sridevi on her last journey. Husband Boney Kapoor and daughters Khushi and Janhvi were seen by her side.

2.00pm:  Fans were not allowed to go inside to pay their last respects to pay their last respects to the actor after 12 pm by the police, because of which many of them had to wait outside.

1.50pm: Sridevi is dressed in her favourite Kanjeevaram golden and red saree.  While her body has been kept in a glass casket. The procession has been scheduled at 2.00pm.

1.25pm: Filmfare has shared pictures of the truck on which Sridevi’s mortal remains will be transported to the crematorium in Vile Parle.

12.50pm: Arjun Kapoor was seen in the Celebration Sports Club along with his family members.

12.33pm: Actors Jackie Shroff,  Sophie Chaudhary, Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput and directors David Dhawan and Rakesh Roshan arrive to pay the final respects.
