After winning the toss, Bangladesh decided to bat first, while the team lost Das, Sarkar, and Haque at the early stage, it was Mushfiqur Rahim’s 99 of 116 balls and Mohammad Mithun’s 60 of 84 balls that gave hopes to Bangladeshi fans. On the other hand, Mahmudullah played smartly with the lower-order batsmen which helped Bangladesh post a respected total of 239 on the scoreboard.
For Pakistan, Junaid Khan scalped 4 wickets while Shaheen Shah Afridi and Hasan Ali took 2 wickets each to bowl out Bangladesh in 48.5 overs.
Batting second Pakistan’s Imam-ul-Haq smashed 83 runs off 105 balls but the 22-year-old batsman did not get any support from other batsmen including Fakhar Zaman, Babr Azam, skipper Sarfraz Ahmed, as they could only score 202/9 in just 50 overs.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh bowlers did a fantastic job as Mustafizur Rahman took 4 wickets, while Mehidy Hasan scalped 2 wickets along with Rubel Hossain, Mahmudullah, and Soumya Sarkar took 1 wicket each as Bangladesh crushed Pakistan by 37-runs in their last Super 4 encounter of the Asia Cup.

Interestingly, Pakistan who had never lost to Bangladesh in the Asia Cup( in the 50-overs format) are now finally thumped by Mashrafe Mortaza and Co.
Indian Cricket team led by Rohit Sharma has yet not faced any defeat in the tournament, except the tie against Afghanistan. Now the Men in Blue will fight against Bangladesh for the trophy at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday.
