Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt who has been ruling the heart of the audience over last 3 decades with movies such as Rocky, Sadak, Khalnayak, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S., has expressed his desire to become the brand ambassador for the anti-drug campaign.
Recently, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Mr Trivendra Singh Rawat on Saturday said that the 59-year-old star has recently offered to lead an anti-drug campaign which is to be launched by 6 northern states that include Uttarakhand and other 2 union territories which are affected by danger.

Further, Mr Trivendra Singh Rawat said that he had a telephonic conversation with the Sanjay Dutt and has given his consent for the campaign too when Rawat was in Mumbai to invite entrepreneurs to invest in the state.
“I had a telephonic talk with Sanjay Dutt who was shooting somewhere. He said he had himself suffered much due to drug addiction early in his career. He was more than happy to offer his support the anti-drug campaign. The actor claimed that he was willing to make his contribution by being a part of the campaign and become its ambassador.” Rawat added
Meanwhile, Rawat was in Mumbai where he met a large number of Bollywood directors, which includes Vishal Bharadwaj and Mukesh Bhatt. Well, he could not meet Sanjay Dutt as he was shooting for the movie.
The move will impact 5 states which include Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and union territory of Delhi and Chandigarh which had recently made and had planned a joint strategy to fight the drug-related issues.
Recently, Rawat was in Chandigarh to attend a conference which had the presence from his counterparts from Himachal, Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, and Rajasthan.
According to reports, these states intend to launch a large-scale awareness campaign about the ill-effects of drugs. take effective strategies to keep the children away from it.
