Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju Is A Classic And Has BLOCKBUSTER Written All Over It

Make way, Ranbir Kapoor is arriving with his highest grosser till date. Yes, RK has definitely surprised us with the way he has easily slipped into Sanjay Dutt’s shoes. Interestingly,  every single aspect of the actor has been perfectly imitated by Kapoor, from his slouching walk, the pain in his eyes and the way he talks, a mix of Bumbaiya and fashionable English.

Kapoor, being an actor himself, is seen acting like Sanjay Dutt, who is an actor by profession. You can guess, the huge level of preparation,  RK had to undergo to achieve perfection. Hats off to him.

Rating-3.5/5

Sanju is much bigger than Sanjay Dutt and it serves as a  great platform for Ranbir Kapoor to display his acting skills also make the whole world aware about the complexities in Sanjay Dutt’s life.

Moreover, Hirani in his 160-minute movie has not only narrated Sanju’s story but also Paresh Rawal’s remarkable performance as a father who is torn between love for his son and his moral code.

Meanwhile, the female leads Manisha Koirala, Sonam Kapoor, and Dia Mirza also play a significant role in the movie.

While It was really interesting to watch Manisha as Nargis Dutt also a delight to watch her on the screen.

In the 1st 90 minutes, you will see a unique bond between Ranbir as Dutt, and Vicky Kaushal as Kamli. Hirani has presented every detail of Sanjay Dutt’s life in his own unique style. The movie doesn’t attempt to justify his life or tries to whitewash his flaws.

The first shot of Sanjay’s first movie or the songs he sings with his girlfriend Ruby(Sonam Kapoor), his moments of friendship with a real friend (Vicky Kaushal) or a fake friend who gets him hooked onto drugs, the movie is really exciting and dramatic.

RK has definitely stolen the show with his performance. In some shots, you will never be able to point out differences between Kapoor and Dutt. Meanwhile, Kaushal shines in some funny moments and serious issues.

Well, the director did a fantastic job of dividing Dutt’s life into 2 different parts- his fight with drug addiction, and the jail term for his involvement in the 1993 Mumbai blasts.

While the movie belongs to Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal as both these actors pull even the flawed parts of the movie together.

Also, Sanju comes at a great time in Bollywood when everyone is desperate to watch a good content and we bet Sanju will not disappoint you.

Go and Enjoy it! Sanju is a must-watch for all the Sanjay Dutt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Rajkumar Hirani fans.
