Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav was in the news but this time it was all for the wrong reason. The 47-year-old comedian and his wife Radha Yadav along with a company were convicted by the Delhi court on Saturday.

In 2010 the Bhool Bhulaiyaa actor had taken a loan of Rs 5 crore from MG Agarwal( an owner of Murli Projects) for his film Ata Pata Laapata(2012) in which he was making a directorial debut but the film starring Asrani, Om Puri, and Ashutosh Rana tanked at the box-office.
Later, the Delhi-based entrepreneur decided to file a case against the against the actor and his wife in the high court when they failed to repay the amount.
In 2013, Yadav was even sent to Tihar Jail from December 3 to December 6 for hiding significant facts about the case by submitting a false affidavit.

Further, the judge had issued a contempt of court notice against the two women lawyers who were representing the couple along with an oath officer for submitting an affidavit in the court which had forged signature of the couple.
In 2015, Rajpal Yadav had claimed that he had already paid Rs 1.58 crore and needs to pay back the remaining Rs 3.42 crore.
Moreover, Yadav said to the court that he has received a fresh offer from the company which had decided to take up the liability of his loan. While he also claimed to repay the loan in 30 days.
After being found guilty, Karkardooma court has finalized April 23 as the date for his sentencing
Rajpal Yadav is one of the popular actors in Bollywood who is praised for his comic timings. While he has also worked in various films like Chup Chup Ke, Garam Masala, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, Phir Hera Pheri, Phir Hera Pheri, De Dana Dan, and Dhol.
Recently, he was seen in Judwaa 2 along with Varun Dhawan.
