Beautiful 1990s! The release of Maine Pyaar Kiya was the first movie of Sooraj Barjatya, Salman Khan, and Bhagyashree Patwardhan. Releasing in the year 1989, the movie surprisingly turned out to be the highest-grossing Indian film of the 1980s. Meanwhile, the song Aaya Mausam Dosti Ka created a lover boy image of Salman Khan also the success of this movie earned him a tag of the next-gen star.

Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!

Salman’s popular romcom HAHK is an essential part of every Indian’s life. Well, the Khan-Barjatya pair brought a big change in the Indian film industry with HAHK. Tere Naam

Amazing transformation! Salman gave such an adorable performance as Radhe Mohan that even critics can’t even stop to praise him as they said that Khan has put his heart and soul into his performance. The superstar had rocked the whole nation sporting his long greasy locks in Tere Naam. While ‘Tere Naam was nominated for a total of 24 Awards, winning 7 of them, including 8 Filmfare Award nominations. In 2011, Director Kaushik announced a sequel to Tere Naam to. Isn’t it exciting?

Mujhse Shaadi Karogi

In 2004, we saw Sallu and Akki coming together for the first time for Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. Directed by David Dhawan MSK was a was a major commercial success of the year. Well, the fresh romantic pair of Salman and Priyanka was loved by everyone at the box-office. Meanwhile, who can forget the romantic song- “rab kare tujhko bhi pyaar ho jaae”?

Dabangg

Damn! Salman returned as a corrupt but fearless police officer, Chulbul Pandey in Dabangg. His dialogue, “Hum tum mein itne ched karenge, ki confuse ho jaoge ke saans kahan se le aur paade kahan se” became popular in all over India. The song, Tere Mast Mast Do Nain, reached No.1 in the official Asian Download Chart in the United Kingdom based on legal downloads in that country. While the sequel was a blockbuster, reports say Salman is returning with Dabangg 3.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan

Our Salman Bhai always amazes his fans with his performances. In the movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Salman was seen playing the role of  Bajrangi, an ardent devotee of Hindu deity Hanuman along with a brave and innocent man who was praised by everyone. In October 2015, the film was broadcast on Star Gold and became the most watched Bollywood movie in the history of Indian television. The movie is among the biggest blockbuster movies and is among the highest grossing indian movies worldwide.

Sultan

In 2016, Salman returned into a role of Sultan, a fictional wrestling champion from Haryana who is trying to find meaning and purpose in his life. It was interesting to see Salman playing such intense roles apart from masala movies. Well, the pair of Salman and Anushka won every Indian’s heart. Also, it broke several records at the box-office to earn 600 crores worldwide to become the 5th highest grossing movie at that time.

Tiger Zinda Hai

After  Ek Tha Tiger turned out to be a blockbuster, Salman returned as a Tiger in the sequel Tiger Zinda Hai. From Salman’s fight with wolves to his operating on code words like “Maa ki dal” and “Tu tu tu, tu tu tara” the movie turned out to be one of the most entertaining movies of the year. The song, “Swag Se Karenge Sbala Swaaagat” became the anthem of the year.
