IPL 2018: Pakistani Female Anchor Impressed With KL Rahul’s Batting Tweets A Special Message For Him

IPL 2018 would be the most memorable year for Kings XI Punjab’s opener KL Rahul who is currently holding the orange cap after scoring 471 runs in just 10 matches at an average of 58.88 and a strike charge of 156.48.

After scoring two big innings against Rajasthan Royals in his last two matches, the 26-year-old cricketer has now become the youngest star in IPL 2018.

While Twitter and cricketer fraternity were praising Rahul’s 84-run knock off just 54 balls against Rajasthan Royals for Punjab, one tweet from Zainab Abbas, an anchor from Karachi in Pakistan has become the new hot topic on social media.

Well, this comes as a surprise for everyone as an Indian batsman is getting praised by a female anchor from across the border.

Impressed with his match-winning knock against Rajasthan Royals in India, Abbas tweeted,” KL Rahul impressive, superb timing, great to watch.. #RRvKXIP”

Do you remember? this is the same anchor who was criticized by the Indian fans on social media after superstar batsmen Virat Kohli was dismissed for a golden duck by against Srilanka. Well, the reason was a strange one as everyone blamed her for clicking a selfie with Virat Kohli, which turned as a curse for him.

It is hard to believe such a beautiful anchor blamed for Kohli’s batting.

Rahul who is usually famous for his attacking strategy decided to play a more patient knock with Punjab to chase down the target in 18.4 overs to register a comfortable win at the Holkar Stadium in Indore on Sunday.

As Kings are now placed at the third spot in the points table, it will be interesting to see whether the team can qualify for the playoffs.

Meanwhile, Expect some more runs from KL Rahul’s bat.
