Directed by Tabrez Noorani and produced by David Womark, the official trailer of Love Sonia starring renowned actors such as Rajkummar Rao, Manoj Bajpayee, Richa Chadha, Anupam Kher, Mrunal Thakur, Adil Hussain, Sunny Parwar, Demi Moore, Mark Duplass, and Freida Pinto in pivotal roles is out.
The movie portrays a distressing tale of a 17-year-old girl Sonia who is out to rescue her sister from the clutches of sex traffickers is out.

The 2-minute trailer which released on 23 August showcases some hard-hitting performances. Mrunal’s simplicity is clearly expressed which changes to unfortunate screams when her sister Preeti played by Riya Sisodiya, is brutally taken away from the family.
Further, the trailer is packed with some touching moments which is delivered by excellent performers. For instance, in a scene from the trailer, Manoj Bajpayee(Faizal) is spotted greeting one of the sisters by saying “Hello, Welcome to Mumbai.” Well, the gentle statement is delivered with ease, yet it manages to impart the darkness layered within his character.
Meanwhile, Anupam Kher’s role of a sex trader seems to be on-point, his shrewdness, and apathy will make you feel different. Richa Chadha(Madhuri) and Rajkummar Rao(Manish) have also performed their part well in the movie
Tabrez Noorani who has been earlier associated with movies like Zero Dark Thirty, Life Of Pi and Slumdog Millionaire is satisfied that the movie will release in India

While Love Sonia has its world premiere at the London Indian Film Festival on 21 June 2018, the movie has also won Best Indie Film Award at Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2018. Moreover, Richa Chadda has been honoured with an outstanding achievement award at the London Indian Film Festival for her performance. Well, the film will hit the theatres on September 14, 2018.
