Last year, Sanon mesmerized the nation with her exemplary acting skills while Aaryan has become the biggest entertainer of the year with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Well, both these films have become a huge box-office success.
On Monday, the official announcement of the movie was made on Twitter by Kriti Sanon. She wrote, “LUKA CHUPPI super excited for this one!!! March 2019!!”

Recently, Vijan had spoken to Mumbai Mirror, revealing the characters and plot of the upcoming movie. Moreover, the story travels from Mathura to Gwalior and then Agra. While Sanon belongs to Delhi and Aaryan is from Agra, both these actors look perfect together, reveals Vijan.
Vijan said that they all were looking for a different title but finally they have decided to settle for Luka Chuppi. He said, “Kartik plays the star reporter of a local TV channel in Mathura. We had toyed with the title Mathura Live before settling for a game of hide-and-seek.”
The movie’s name sound interesting, isn’t it?
Further, Vijan said that Sanon portrays the role of a Mathura girl who goes to Delhi for studies and returns to her hometown.
Later, he added, “While Kartik is the quintessential good boy every girl wants to take home to mamma, Kriti represents today’s youth who advocate gender equality and have their own ideology.”
Moreover, Luka Chuppi also marks the debut of Laxman Utekar, who is the DoP of Irrfan Khan-starrer 2017 film Hindi Medium. Earlier, he has directed 2 Marathi films, Tapaal and Lalbaugcha Raja.
According to reports, the shooting will begin in August 2018 and will hit the screens in March 2019.
Well, We can’t wait to see these engineer-turned actors romancing in the same movie for the first time.
