It’s that time of the year we celebrate Janmashtami which marks the birth of Lord Krishna. Well,   people celebrate the festival with enthusiasm every year. From Salman Khan’s Chandi Ki Daal to Soja Zara of Baahubali 2, Bollywood songs had great influence over the festival over last 2 decades.

1. Radha Kaise Na Jale- Lagaan

While Ashutosh Gowariker’s Lagaan was loved by people from all over India, Aamir Khan and debutant Gracy Singh’s rasleela in the song Radha Kaise Na Jale stole all the show. The song which was Asha Bhosle,  Udit Narayan, and Vaishali Samant became highly popular.

Himesh Reshammiya’s track Go, Go Govinda from the movie Oh My God,  is one of the favourite Janmashtami tracks. The song which features Dance King Prabhu Deva and actress Sonakshi Sinha is sung by none other than singing sensation Mika Singh and Shreya Ghoshal. Check out this awesome track:

3. Chandi Ki Daal Par- Hello Brother

It seems Himesh Reshammiya is a devotee of Lord Krishna as he has mastered the art of composing songs on Janmashtami festival. Take this song Man Basia O Kanha from the movie Tere Naam. The song which features debutant  Bhumika Chawla is sung by melody queen Alka Yagnik.

5. Soja Zara- Baahubali 2

S.S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 is undoubtedly one of the favourite movies of the decade. The epic historical movie which had broken all the box-office records has a beautiful and soulful song Soja Zara which is sung by Madhushree. Surprisingly, the song which features Prabhas and Anushka Shetty has got over 105 million views on Bollywood.
