Further, let’s check out which team is fighting for the 4th spot:

RAJASTHAN ROYALS

Rajasthan Royals under the leadership of Ajinkaye Rahane did a fantastic job on Saturday by crushing the Virat Kohli’s men by 30 runs. MUMBAI INDIANS

Status: In 5th place with 12 points from 13 matches with Net Run Rate of+0.384

Remaining match: vs Delhi Daredevils on Sunday, May 20

Though Rohit Sharma and Co. has the best NRR among all the IPL teams it will be interesting to see if the team can beat Delhi Daredevils at Ferozshah Kotla on Sunday. Their win against DD will take them to 14 points and the team can qualify and play the eliminator. While a surprise defeat from DD can dash all their hopes.

KINGS XI PUNJAB

Status: In the 7th position with 12 points from 13 games with the Net Run Rate of -o.49

Remaining match: vs  CSK on Sunday, May 20

For Kings XI Punjab, the situation is a bit tough as they compete against CSK in their last match at Pune as for them just a victory is not enough as they have to beat the Men in Yellow by a big margin. Well, their hopes of playing for the playoffs also depends on the results of the match between Mumbai Indian and Delhi Daredevils.

For KKR, they still have a chance to get to a 2nd spot if Kings XI Punjab defeats CSK by 76 runs or 50 balls to spare.
