Skipper Rohit Sharma’s superb knock of 89 runs of 61 balls and Suresh Raina’s score of 47 runs took India to a safe total of 176/3 while Mushfiqur Rahim’s 72 off 55 deliveries went in vain after Bangladesh felt short of just 17 runs.

The MS Dhoni side was playing the 25th match of ICC World T20 2016, in their home. While not many would’ve anticipated the match to turn out into a thriller as India won the match by only 1 run after posing a total of 146 runs on the scoreboard. Hence, dashing the hopes of Bangladeshi players and fans.
