Anil Kapoor’s Fanney Khan Or Irrfan Khan’s Karwaan, Check Out The Movies To Watch This Weekend

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao starrer Fanney Khan and Irrfan Khan’s Karwaan is one of the best movies for the audience to watch. While have already hit the screens  we would like to share with you the reviews of these movies which you must definitely watch this weekend:

Karwaan

Director – Akarsh Khurana
Cast – Irrfan Khan, Dulquer Salmaan, Mithila Palkar
Rating – 3/5

Avinash (Dulquer) is a dejected man who is stuck in a dead-end job and shares a very odd relationship with his father. Well, he blames his father for destroying all his dreams. All of a sudden he comes to know about his father’s untimely demise which takes Avinash and his friend Shaukat (Irrfan) from Bengaluru to Kochi and this is a beginning of a journey which gives them a chance to introspect about their lives.

Indeed, someone has said it right that getting lost is the best way to find yourself. While road films talk about heart to heart conversations, Karwan seems like a dark comedy which is unconventional, detached and funny.

The wonderful things about the the movie is Irrfan and Dulquer. Moreover, Irrfan has once agin proved why he is one of the finest actors of the cinema with his extraordinary performance and his trademark piercing gaze. Mithila Palkar looks pleasant but fails to match the expectations while Kriti Kharbanda looks beautiful in her special apearance.

Well, Karwaan might be a roller coaster ride which leaves you with a warm fuzzy feeling in the heart which speaks says that all’s well that ends well.

Fanney Khan

Director – Atul Manjrekar
Cast – Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Rating – 3.5/5

Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer is a beautiful story of hopes, dreams, and relationships. The movie is about a father who will stop at nothing to make his lovely daughter the next big singing sensation of the country.

Prashant Sharma (Anil Kapoor)  couldn’t become Mohammad Rafi but has a dream of making his daughter Lata Mangeshkar. He really works very hard to make ends meet,  Shammi Kapoor is his idol who only lives for his dream of superstardom. Unforutnately he fails to achive his dream and had great hopes from Lata (Pihu Sand).

Anil hits the right notes as a beleaguered father, a middle class man in Mumbai who is struggling between dreams and reality while Pihu Sand  captures the vulnerability of her character. Aishwarya Rai is looking gorgeous as always. Further, Rajkummar Rao’s comic timing is awesome.

Well, Anil is the one whose knock-out performance makes the movie a must watch.

We hope you have a great weekend after watching the movies of your favourite stars.
