Atal Bihari Vajpayee- A Man Who Won Every Heart With His Poetry

The sudden demise of India’s former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has already left the whole nation into a state of shock. He was admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on June 11 after he was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection, kidney tract infection, and low urine output. According to reports, the former PM  was a diabetic patient and had only 1 functional kidney. On 15th August 2018, AIIMS had issued a release which stated that his condition had worsened in the past 24 hours and that he was on life support system.

Finally, the BJP veteran left us on 16th August 2018 at the age of 93 and with this news people on Twitter were seen mourning over the loss of one of India’s greatest prime minister, a statesman and a great poet who was loved and respected by millions!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen leaving from AIIMS a day before his death.

While Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee was popularly known as  “Bhisma Pitamah of Indian politics”, as with his political astuteness, he always towered all his colleagues. Moreover, he was also a great writer penning several books and poems during his lifetime which inspirrf everyone. Well, check out his poems prove that he was a great weaver of words:

 जंग न होने देंगे

आओ फिर से दिया जलाएँ

कदम मिलाकर चलना होगा

गीत नया गाता हूँ!!

झुक नहीं सकते

Indeed, Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be remembered for his visionary ideas and wisdom while his works will definitely inspire the youths of the country.
