Bollywood’s Pari and Virat Kohli’s super cool wife Anushka Sharma is not only trying some thing new with her movies but also changing her lifestyle. Well, the Sultan girl who had turned vegetarian over 3 years ago affirms that it is one of the best decisions she has made in her life. Hmmm…so what she is talking about over here?
In a new campaign for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India, She reveals, “I Am Anushka Sharma, and I’m a Vegetarian”.
In the ad, which is shot by Mazen Abusrour, the 30-year-old superstar smiles joyfully into the camera to display an outfit from her brand NUSH. Well, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil star has once again proved that she has taken one of the best decisions of her life by becoming a vegetarian.

Anushka said in the statement accompanying the photograph,”Going vegetarian was one of the best decisions I ever made. I have more energy, I feel healthier, and I’m so happy that no animals had to suffer for my meals.”
Awww! Catch this lovely smile on Anushka’s face, Is this the result of her being vegetarian? Well, She proudly says, “I am Anushka Sharma and I am Vegetarian.”
Also, PETA India’s motto reads, “animals are not ours to eat”. Sharing her concern for the world, he wrote, “The only way forward for me is through a way in which I take care of the world around me and co-exist with my environment. This is the best decision I’ve made and I am content with the knowledge that I’ve made a little difference in the world in this way. @PetaIndia”
We can’t believe when we came to know that the actress has opted to go leafy for such a long period of time.
According to the animal rights organisation, Anushka has been a vegetarian for 3 and half years and was named PETA India’s Hottest Vegetarian Celebrity in 2015 and its Person of the Year in 2017.
We are proud to say that Sharma joins the bandwagon of celebs like Shahid Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Sonu Sood and R Madhavan who have teamed up with PETA India to promote meat-free meals.
