OMG! Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju has now become the latest movie to enter the coveted 100-crore club. After giving a series of box-office failures in last few years barring Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, the 35-year-old actor has made a remarkable comeback with Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Sanju‘.
According to Bollywood Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh, Sanju, on the day of its release, has so far earned Rs.34.75 crore to emerge as the biggest opener of 2018. On the 2nd day, the movie has collected Rs.38.60 crore to gross over Rs 73 crore at the Box Office. This is mindblowing, isn’t it?

With this, Hirani has now cemented his status in Bollywood with yet another blockbuster while RK who badly needed a box-office hit is back with vengeance. Further, Sanju is now all set to cross the 100 crore mark on Sunday too and say what it would be the 7th film of this year to enter Rs 100 crore club.

- Padmaavat
Releasing in January, Padmaavat is now the first movie to enter the 100 crore club this year. the period drama starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in lead roles took only 5 days to mint 100 crores!
- Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety
SKTKS starring Kartik Aryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh gave a big surprise to everyone as it entered the 100 crore club in just 25 days of its release. Produced at a budget of Rs.30 crore, the movie is one of the highest-grossing Indian movies of 2018.
- Baaghi 2
Tiger Shroff- Disha Patani starrer has stunned everyone and came out as a big relief at a time when Bollywood needed a big hit. The movie collected Rs 25 crore on its first day and over Rs 190 crore in India within 2 weeks of its release.
- Raid
Ajay Devgn crime thriller is among the few films which managed to collect good numbers at box-office along with being critically appreciated. The movie which is basically based on real-life events took 22 days to reach the 100-crore mark.
- Raazi
Another big surprise came from Alia Bhatt’s spy thriller Raazi which now stands with the net collection of Rs 123 crore and is the 5th Bollywood film to enter the club of Rs 100 crore this year.
- Race 3
Race 3 was a Salman Khan movie and everyone knew that the movie will reach the 100 crore mark easily. Though the movie has received a huge box-office response but was not praised by the critics. Directed by Remo D’Souza, the movie easily managed to enter 100 crore club in mere three days of its release.
